I have always loved RAD (a BMX bike movie from 1986). I had decided that this movie deserved a better poster in the style of Tyler Stout or Ollie Mos. I began designing this poster in 2009. So in 2011 for the 25th anniversary of the film, there was a celebration in Calgary Alberta where it was filmed. They held an art exhibit and I decided to submit this as my design.

Since then it has been a big success.
